Kooghyan (Kay) Um
Kooghyan (Kay) Um, Ph.D., is Vice President of R&D for ORP Institute in Korea and chair of the International Cooperation Division of the Korean Association for Appreciative Inquiry (KAAI). In those capacities, she is a pioneer in disseminating the philosophy and practice of Appreciative Inquiry to Korean corporations and communities. With a specialty in educational testing and measurement, Dr. Um has worked in national and international organizations, and on multiple occasions has been a leading member in psychometric activities both in Korea and the US. Now, she is dedicated to applying her long-time passion and expertise in psychometrics and assessment to developing strength-based diagnostics related to organization and leadership development, personality assessment, talent management and performance evaluation.
