Carolyn MillerCarolyn Millerhas 25 years experience designing and leading strength-based change efforts. As a leader in the field of building high-performance work systems, Carolyn brings an unusual blend of business acumen and human systems empowerment. Her extensive work flow and cultural redesign includes: the IRS, U.S. Forest Service, Corning Glass, Kodak, Manville and R. R. Donnelley. Director of a large nonprofit, Carolyn has led AI based change efforts in many non-profit and educational settings including Sound Partners for Community Health, Alina Regional Medical Center, University of Nebraska, the Office of Head Start/DHHS, Washington, D.C., the New Mexico State Office of Education, UCLA School Management Program, Santa Maria High School in California and numerous “turn around” initiatives with education programs throughout the country, including Los Angeles County Office of Education city-wide Head Start program. Carolyn is the lead author of The Nonprofit’s Guide to the Power of Appreciative Inquiry.
